Our dates for 2012 will be May 17,18,19 & 20
Please excuse the mess as we are rebuilding and designing the site!

Crossroads began as a way for beginning entertainers, or people looking to widen their audience base to do so. In three short years we have created an environment where not only is this happening, but an environment where the entertainers support each other as well. Not only do the more experienced entertainers give moral support and advice to entertainers with less experience, it is not unusual to see them taking time to give children a quick guitar lesson or help them with a poem. We are expanding our mission to include using our genres to educate the general public as to where their food comes from and how it is raised.

Is this the right way to put on a gathering? The proof is in the pudding and the first twelve performers to sign up for the 2012 show are returning for at least their second show. Six of these performers (plus the two judges) are returning for their third trip, which isn't a bad return rate for an event just going into its fourth year!

Three judges will each give up to 50 points an act, divided equally between material and delivery. The Judges will be Rusty Battenfield, judging from a musician's point of view, Dave P. Fisher, judging from a poet's point of view, and Gary Fuentes, of Van Horn, judging from a spectator's point of view.  The scores will be tallied and the top ten put on a whiteboard for all to see as each entertainer finishes their act.  Any events participating via internet will be immediately put in contact with the entertainers of their choice! To sign up, simply
fill out the form and you are in the "Cowboy Correct Gathering!"
